Wendt & Kühn 4 Piece Nativity Set 1

Nativity Scene Set 1 by Wendt & Kühn introduced in 2021 consists of four pieces – Mary, Joseph, Child in Crib and the Nativity Angel. The Nativity Scene figurines range in height from 1.5″ – 3″. Inspired by Grete Wendt’s design of 1910/11, the figurines straight lines and minimalist style are akin to the form we would have first expected from the artists of the Bauhaus in 1919. The figurines display a simplicity and a richness of detail giving this extraordinary group character. In 2022 Nativity Scene Set 2 was added to our collection. Additional figurines will be added over the next several year until the scene is complete.

The Nativity Scene by Wendt & Kühn figurines are hand made and hand painted wooden figurines, imported from Germany and presented in a Wendt & Kühn gift box.
